SynchAudio listening session with music supervisor & sync creatives

 

On Friday, October 18 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm 2024 at the Theatre Lycée Decour. Synchaudio presents an exclusive listening session panel including:

- Award winning music supervisor (Stranger Things, Yellowjackets), Nora Felder

- Founder & CEO of SynchAudio inc, Farinoush Mostaghimi

- Creative Sync representative, Pierre Marie Wurdarski

 

The listening session is a vital part of the music selection process for visual media. Music supervisors and sync representatives must balance artistic and practical considerations to find the perfect songs that enhance the narrative, resonate emotionally, and fit within logistical constraints. Their expertise ensures that the music not only supports but also elevates the visual storytelling, creating a more impactful and memorable experience for the audience.

KALUPTO is a journey through melancholia. Befriending the sound of artists such as Mk.Gee and mixing it with the simplicity of acoustic piano songs like November Ultra's, there is as much anger as there is love, as much frustration as there is hope. Highly inspired by all Bon Iver’s albums, and raised by Soul and R’n’B.

 

KALUPTO’s songs were created through the need to grasp the meaning of one’s life. The voice of its composer Calypso emerges from space and invites you to dwelve yourselves in, hoping you'll find confort and peace.

 

They released an EP in June 2024 « static hideout » and are currently working on their first album.
